DOC Douro

Vieira de Sousa Tinto Reserva

Vieira de Sousa Tinto Reserva

Our Vieira de Sousa Red Reserve is produced with grapes from a unique vineyard in Quinta da Agua Alta, near the Douro River. This Vineyard is located in a fresh valley, facing east. Its location near the Douro River and her position makes this vineyard perfect for the most balanced and fresh grapes for this Douro wine. The main grape variety for this wine is Touriga Francesa and a small part of Touriga Nacional. It has aged in French oak barrels just enough time to balance and equilibrate its structure and tannins without overpowering its elegance and fruit. This a very elegant and smooth wine. Has notes of clove spices, floral aromas and black fruit. It is a rich full bodied wine. A very balanced and fresh mouth.
